WHO WE ARE
As a teacher and educational leader working within the education system for more than 15 years, I have watched countless educators struggle to overcome challenges within the classroom while grappling with their own personal and financial hardships.
While resources are typically available to help teachers obtain school supplies, rarely is there much support for teachers who experience economic challenges. More than 40% of Educators in South Florida raising a family of four earn below the poverty level & struggle to meet their basic needs.

When I served as a school business partner liaison, my role involved reaching out to local businesses and encouraging them to take part in initiatives that supported our teachers, from providing them with incentives, offering financial assistance, and access to health and wellness programs. In this work, I recognized that so much more could be done to support teachers.

Teachers do so much to support our children. Yet many of their own needs often go unmet. After earning my master’s in Educational Leadership, I decided to devote my energy to making a meaningful impact in the lives of teachers by establishing the nonprofit organization
TLC4TEACHERS to provide the tools and resources they need to increase impact beyond the classroom.
Based in South Florida, we provide resources for teachers including financial assistance, advocacy, wellness education, and mentoring designed to help build successful careers while balancing their personal needs. We provide access to learning materials to teachers and students as well as funding for short-term financial emergencies.
We are striving to create a safe space in which teachers feel comfortable reaching out for personal resources and support. Our ultimate goal is to provide a platform that empowers teachers by addressing their overall self-worth, wellness, and financial security.
If you are committed to giving our hard-working teachers some tender loving care, join our supportive community and learn how together we can help teachers be their best!
